Client Service Centers are available in each county to assist people who are struggling financially due to unexpected circumstances.
Some services that are available:
► Household contents such as a stove or refrigerator
► Heat & some utility assistance when there is a shut-off notice or low fuel tank. Click Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program
► Homeless Prevention funds (Menominee County only)
Call 786-7080 in Escanaba, 341-2452 in Manistique or 863-3042 in Menominee to make an appointment. Be aware many of our programs require you to first apply through the Department of Health and Human Services. Click here for an important reminder.

The agency also administers two commodity food programs: one, primarily for senior citizens, is offered on a monthly basis; the other on a quarterly basis for non-seniors and seniors who qualify. (Click HERE to see distribution schedules.)
To sign up for the commodity program(s) call your local senior center, or the Menominee Client Service office (863-3042), or Manistique Client Service office (341-2452).
