The 2018 Delta County Walk for Warmth took place Saturday in Escanaba. The event, which took place in Menominee, Delta and Schoolcraft counties, raised funds to help residents having trouble paying their home heating bills. Here are photos from the event.

Jack Soderman and Nora Smith, right, present $1,854 Saturday to Community Action Agency Delta County Walk for Warmth, represented by CAA Executive Julie Moberg Cathy Pearson. Each year Soderman and others seek contributions from members of First Lutheran Church, Gladstone, people attending the Gladstone and Rapid River senior centers, family and friends. For the second straight year the amount he raised has set a personal record. The walk raised funds to help Delta County residents pay their home heating bills.

Taking part were, back row from left, club members Leon Ham, Bev Ham, Bonnie Lippens, Mike Oxford, Brandon Oxford and Bill Brunette.
