Senior Companion volunteers were honored Thursday at the annual recognition banquet at the Island Resort in Bark River. In 2018 the program provided 44,805 hours of volunteer service. Here are some photos from the event.
Margaret Leonard, Schoolcraft County, and Frank Stoykovich, Delta County, received the Community Action Agency Senior Companion Program Gil Sablack Volunteer of the Year Award during the program’s annual recognition banquet Thursday at the Island Resort. The award is named in honor of the deceased CAA Governing Board member Gil Sablack, Manistique, who was a strong advocate of the Senior Companion Program.
