Throughout the year our agency takes part in two food distribution programs -- the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) and the Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). Links to the food distribution schedules can be found below (those links also include household income guidelines). Also below you can find links to the two federal programs. To see how to apply, call the senior center nearest you.
The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) supplements the diets of low-income residents, including the elderly, by providing both food and nutrition assistance at no cost four times a year.
The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) works to improve the health of low-income elderly persons at least 60 years of age by supplementing their diets monthly with nutritious USDA Foods.
Empower and assist people to improve and sustain their quality of life through nurturing, education, housing, nutrition, volunteerism, in-home/support services and advocacy.
