Walk for Warmth Photos 2017 -- Delta County

The 2017 Walk for Warmth took place Saturday in Escanaba. The event, which took place in Menominee, Delta and Schoolcraft counties, raised funds to help residents having trouble paying their home heating bills. Here are photos from the event. (Community Action Agency photos by Rick Rudden)
 
 
Jack Soderman and Gayla Louis, left, present $1,652 to Community Action Agency Delta County Walk for Warmth to, represented by CAA Executive Assistant Cathy Pearson. Each year Soderman and others ask members of First Lutheran Church, Gladstone, and people attending the Gladstone and Rapid River senior centers to donate, and this year’s total is a personal record. The walk raised funds to help Delta County residents pay their home heating bills.
 
Great Lakes First Credit Union, Escanaba, and employees and retirees donated $667 to the Community Action Agency Delta County Walk for Warmth Saturday. Representing the Credit Union were Bill and Carol Charon, center. Accepting the donation are CAA Executive Assistant Cathy Pearson and CAA Client Services Worker Cindy Gold.
 
Kruisin Klassics donated $1,000 to the Community Action Agency Delta County Walk for Warmth Saturday.
